RATOM Hackathon 2020 – Email Processing Tools, Scripts, and Workflows for Archives

Registration for this event is now closed.

Welcome to our 2020 hackathon! This is a chance to get involved with other members of community working on email preservation, dig in to state-of-the-art open source tools, learn some new skills, or simply to explore a new problems space and get feedback in a friendly and inclusive environment.

The hackathon is a free virtual event, and is open to everyone. We’ve provided three suggested areas of interest in the registration to help bring together those interested in similar features, workflows, or automation tasks.

    • CLI, scripting, and automation
    • RATOM web service and user interface
    • Other email processing development (prototype a tool or workflow)

The hackathon will begin with a one hour kick-off meeting on Monday, October 19, 2020 at 11:00am EST, and wrap up on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at 5:00pm EST.

This is a free online event. The kick-off meeting will take place on Zoom (link will be emailed to registered attendees). More details on communications channels coming soon!
